Well I just finished my second day doing the brewery tours after a month of rehearsing and I'm starting to get into things! The first couple tours were a little rocky, since they weren't very big and this tour is sort of built for lots of people. But once you get groups of 15 and 20 people, and they're really into it, it's awesome.
But the real challenge comes Monday, when we start doing tours on the half-hour. The tour is about an hour long, and start doing them one on the half hour, things will start to be crazy. It means that we'll just be finishing up our part, and then we have to start again right away.
My feet are killing me.
Oh, by the way, the new Bud Light Lime is out in Canada today, and I tried it, and it tastes like lime pop. Very delicious. You don't even need a lime to put in it!

Tomorrow is my first tour and I'm really nervous! I know the lines, and the songs and the blocking. Maybe it won't be so bad with a bunch of people. I think what makes me nervous is forgetting the lines and then looking at their waiting eyes. But it's not like they know the script. I hope I can quickly recover if I do mess up. I just have to really focus, and stay in character. At least we have a run-through in the morning before the tour. That will really help for sure.
I just have to get through my first tour. After that, I only have to do it five more times after that, and then I get to go home. And then the next day I come back and I get to play another character that is slightly less stressful then the one I have to play tomorrow. Also, I get to play my fiddle tomorrow, so that's also comforting.
I can do it. I can do it. I know I can do it.

Faery Ink Press is written by Clare Marshall, a fourth year journalism and psychology student at the University of King's College. She likes to rant about everything that affect her daily life. Clare has written two novels with a third underway, some novellas and a children's chapter book. She is vigorously trying to be published.
She has successfully produced her play, Another Faery Tale, at several locations including her high school and through Eastern Front Theatre (runner-up in the Eastern Front Theatre contest in 2005). In January 2008, she wrote, directed and acted in the well-received Fringe Unhinged, a play about Fringe at the University of King's College's Fringe Festival. In May 2009, she started working as a musical tour guide.
When not writing, Clare enjoys playing the fiddle, dancing, theatre, the Sims, spending time with her friends and achieving high grades in her pretentious school courses. She hopes to someday either start a magazine or a publishing company: probably both.

So after some adjusting, my template and my new domain is finally working. I had a prettier template than this, but it just wasn't working so I'm going to use this one instead. It was my second choice but it's still really pretty.
Ooooh but I really want to use an artsy one...but that's the good thing about blogger. I can make it look like whatever I want, when I want. Although that would be quite confusing to readers.
Just a couple more things to do on the other end...adjusting links...that sort of thing. Then I can rehaul everything.
Muahahaha. Everything is going as planned.

This here's just another test folks, just to make sure that this baby's workin' like she should.
Can you'll hear me? Good.

Like it? I think it's pretty.
I decided to move my blog to a subdomain so I can work on having the main domain as a business...a publishing business...sometime in the near future.
Also, I happen to like blogger a lot. I like its easy use. Its custom templates are pretty. And this looks a hell a lot better than what I spruced up for Faery Ink Press.
All of my old entries are still there, though. I'm a pack rat, I keep everything.
I promise more updates, more prettiness and less spam. Hopefully, less spam. I hate spam.
All the best,
Clare
