So, I haven't been updating because I've been busy doing actual journalism.

I'm one of the new interns at Haligonia.ca, a news website here in Halifax. It's kept me busy doing daily stories. I know, daily reporting was sort of the last thing I wanted to do, but since it's for online, I don't really mind as much. It's not as strict a deadline as it is with print.

So far I've done like 5 or 6 stories in my first week. It's a lot of work, but less work than the TV Workshop. That was brutal.

I'm hoping to do some video book reviews...and maybe have my own show? Hahaha, that would be cool. I'd call it Writer's Corner, or something less cheesy. Writing and Publishing is something I'm [obviously!] interested in. What better way to gain experience than using my journalism to talk to people in the field?

Also, one of the best parts: I get a press pass! I wear it everywhere. It's kind of my new talisman. Though I get a lot of stares from the general public. I guess it doesn't help that I also walk around in a long flowy trench coat and reporter-like hat.

Anyway, have to go send out my finished story for today.
